DIRECTIONS
From Seattle
Immediately as 19th E turns into Lynn St, the festival is on your left.
From I-5 North or South, take the 168B (SR 520 exit)
Exit Montlake Blvd off of SR-520 and bear to the right
Turn right onto Montlake Blvd East and immediately turn right onto East Roanoake St.
East Ronoake St. becomes 19th Ave. E. Continue to Lynn St. and turn right.
From the Eastside
Take SR-520 East – Use alternate route Saturday & Sunday due to SR-520 closure
Exit Lake Washington Blvd and turn left onto Lake Washington Blvd.
Make a right turn onto Boyer Ave off of Lake Washington Blvd.
Follow Boyer Ave East (crossing 24th Ave E) to 2100 block; the festival is on your right.
Park & Ride
From South Kirkland Park and Ride, Brickyard Park & Ride or Kingsgate Park & Ride
Riders can take route 255 via SR-520 to (UW Station) and transfer to route 48 to 24th Ave E & E Boyer stop. Walk two blocks to Festival. Or ride our frequent shuttle from UW station.
From Bellevue Transit Center, S Bellevue Park & Ride or Mercer Island Park & Ride
Riders can take route 550 to Downtown Seattle (4th/Jackson) and transfer to Light Rail in IDS station to U of W station . Ride our frequent shuttle to the Festival from UW station.
Parking

Parking is available on Boyer and Lynn Street
Please be courteous of our neighbors and do not park in front of driveways, fire hydrants or crosswalks. - Link Light Rail Shuttle
Ride Link Light Rail and get off at the University of Washington station.
During festival hours, shuttle Vans pick up inside the U of W station load and unload area and take you to the Festival and return you to the rail station. - Seattle Prep Shuttle
Saturday and Sunday Only: Free parking and shuttle service at Seattle Preparatory is offered.
The shuttle will operate between the Seattle Prep Garage and St. Demetrios Church on an approximate 15 – 20 minute schedule. After you parked in the garage, please wait on 11th Avenue East in front of the garage entrance for the shuttle.

St. Demetrios Greek Festival FAQ
When was the first Seattle Greek Festival at Saint Demetrios held?
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church held its first Greek Festival in 1960, making this event a true Seattle tradition!
Is there an admission fee?
No, attending the Seattle Greek Festival is Free!
Does the Greek Festival accept credit cards?
Yes! We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Unfortunately we cannot accept checks. No tokens this year. We will accept credit cards at all locations and gift cards can be preloaded for those who don’t have or use credit cards at our Information Booth located in the large tent.
Is there an ATM on-site?
No, there is not an ATM at the Greek Festival, but we do accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
How do I pay for food?
Food, beverages and pastries are purchased with credit cards or we can load a gift card with any amount you request. No tokens anymore but we will honor the tokens from last year on a gift card for you just surrender them at the Information Booth under the large white tent.
How much should I load onto the gift card ?
While of course it varies, we suggest an average of 40 tokens per person to get a true taste of all that the festival has to offer.
Can I purchase food to take home with me?
Yes! We sell pre-packaged pastries and pantry items in our Deli and you may also purchase meals to-go from any of our festival tent food booths .
Where does the money go?
The Greek Festival is staffed by volunteers from the St. Demetrios community, with all proceeds benefitting St. Demetrios’ ministries and community outreach.
Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes! We serve Falafel sandwich, dolmades, Greek salad, spanakopita, tiropita and Greek fries which are all meat-free.
Are there things for kids to do at the Greek Festival?
Kids love the Greek Festival! In addition to great food, music and dancing we offer a children’s booth with games, face painting, candy and prizes.
What happens if it rains?
While of course we hope for great weather, this is Seattle, so we’re prepared! The entire St. Demetrios Church parking lot is covered under a giant tent so the party can continue rain or shine. In addition shopping, church tours and the sit-down dinner are located indoors.
I want to visit the Greek Festival with a wheelchair or stroller, is it accessible?
Yes, St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church is wheelchair and stroller friendly and offers an elevator inside the main building.
Where do I go if I have lost something at the Greek Festival?
Lost & Found is located in the Church office which can be reached at (206) 631-2500.
Is there handicap-accessible parking available?
Yes, there are a few handicap parking spaces available directly in front of the main church entrance on Boyer avenue. These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and provide a very easy access point to enter the festival.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately no pets are allowed, with the exception of service animals.
